Few Tips Before You Start Traveling

Who doesn't want to stay fit and healthy. Waking up early morning and do yoga & running, eating healthy foods, evening walk, spending time in gym, having dinner early and sleep early we do all the possible ways to stay physically fit. But,our mind controls the whole body. We need to heal our brain from daily life work pressures. And that's the time when we need to go out for traveling.
But, before doing bag packing and leaving your home sweet home, you need to know few things. Which will help you to roam around any country without giving any headache and saving more penny in your pocket.

Money

We all love to travel around the world, meeting with new people, having their local foods, experiencing their cultures, visiting memorials. But these all are only dreams. In reality, we always think to travel within or across your country, you need a lot of money. But, the reality is not like that. Most of the countries in the world are always under your budget if you follow my article.
Firstly, you should never book your tour packages from any tour & travel site. They will always charge you the most, no matter how much they give you discount.

  • Before going to any country, you should know about their currency and you should carry some cash in your pocket because, Credit Cards are not accepted in many places and in places like traveling in local transports, you can't use your credit cards.
  • You should get your money exchanged from Bank or ATMs. Their conversion charge will be exact.
  • Before leaving your country, you should contact your bank and Credit/Debit Card holders. Because they can block your cards seeing your transactions internationally.

Hotels

After a long day outing, you always need a warm place to spend a night. But, when you are across the country, if you are looking for a hotel, you will always find those very expensive. Hotels in foreign countries will always provide you the most expensive stuffs to show their hospitality and will charge the most. So, in my opinion, if you don't want to spend the most in your hotel, you should search for some "Hostel" or "Paying Guest" type of rooms which will be very cheap and under your budget. And if you are planning to stay 2-3 months, you can get a room for monthly rent

Transport.

Spending too much money behind transport will be the most foolish thing that anyone did in his travel time. Now, I assume you did your research before visiting any country and you are aware of the local vehicles available there. Instead of booking a cab or taking a tour guide, it is better you do your research and be aware of the route from 'Google Map' and travel by local vehicles. Vehicles in Asian countries like "Tuk Tuk" in Thailand, "Auto Rickshaw" in India, "Jeepney" in Philippines are very cheap to travel.

Food

If you are travelling for food like Mark Wiens or Trevor James, then you should go out there in the market try local cuisines. If you are trying some hotel or restaurant foods, some of them will charge pretty high. So, according to my opinion, you should try the local foods in any where in the world. Local cuisines or country side foods are as tasty as any of the big restaurants.

Language

Language problem is the most we suffer while we are outstation. And it is never easy to learan any language in the short period of time. Not the 100% people of any foreign country are able to speak English. So, I suggest you to learn few local terms and note down in your diary. You can also take help from "Google Translator".

Now, I assume you have packed your bags and all set to go. But, still two main things you should take care of.

  1. You need to check and make sure you have all of the proper vaccinations needed for the country that you are going to visit (Ex-To travel in African continent countries you need vaccinations like-Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Influenza and many more). And also check for your medical insurance.
  2. Before leaving your home, double/triple check your papers like-Passport and other stuffs. And also keep a copy of the papers back in home and keep a scan copy of those in your mail.
